landscape of a wonderful land is brought together in the
four movements of this symphonic work. With the help of
Carlos Espina, we go round valleys, lakes, mountains and
the exciting world of the “Vaqueiros de alzada”.
With their cattle, their belongings, children and old
people, in spring, the “vaqueiros” go up
through crags and cattle tracks to the mountains. They
look for sun, fields and Life."
