 For symphonic orchestra. "Commencing with an Asturian melody and a magical and litanic dance, as ancient as the world itself, I was able to discover the origins of a dream. In this ritual, hand in hand, forming a circle, the dancers long to seek unison with the Cosmos and Universal harmony. "TERRA, AQUAE, IGNIS" remind us of our ancestors and their agricultural origins. Further on in time its evolution towards the sea developing the fishing industry and the relationship it has with other worlds. Finally, the relationship it has with the coal industry, the alchemy of iron and steel taught us other things. In the second movement: "ENCANTACIÓN", it's invoked the spirit of the world, after having integrated us into the previous elements to get the "Universal Dream" of union with the Cosmos. It's used in order to obtain Kl (China) or the necessary breath needed to survive. It's the very acquisition of wind which creates life (the Egyptians). It's the idea of gaining eternal life for Christians. It is, in conclusion, breathing the air that will make us all happy. At last we are ready for the dance. In the third movement: The "DANZA", an old and known Romance typical of our area is dramatized. It leads us through a ritual litany to an explosion of joy where its exclaimed: "Venga la luz del da, venga la luz del alba!" (Come the day light, come the dawn!), that day on which we can all become part of the wheel of fortune. " Juan Carlos Casimiro.
